Shitala MataKnown as both Shitala Mata and Sheetala Mata, she is the Hindu Goddess of Smallpox, believed to have helped people cure themselves of the sickness. She is usually depicted riding atop a donkey, carrying a jar of wtaer to cool her smallpox victims and a brrom to sweep away the disease. There are many temples built in Udaipur, Delhi, Gurgaon to commemorate her.
